DataEngBytes is a community conference that focuses on difficulties with and solutions for real-world data engineering. The primary audience for the DataEngBytes conference is data engineers. Data engineers are also in charge of organizing this conference.
The two-day DataEngBytes conference will take place in person in September in Melbourne (on September 27) and Sydney (on September 29).

Joe Reis, “Recovering Data Scientist”, co-founder/CEO of ternary data.
Since the early 2000s, Joe Reis has worked in a range of data jobs (analytics, machine learning, engineering, architecture, etc.). He describes himself as a “recovering data scientist.”Joe teaches data at the University of Utah while serving as co-founder and CEO of Ternary Data, a consulting company for data engineering and design with a customer and partner base throughout the world. The Monday Morning Data Chat, The Data Nerd Herd, and Let’s Talk Data Engineering are some of the popular podcasts he hosts. He is also a blogger, a speaker at international data conferences, and a co-author of The Fundamentals of Data Engineering (O’Reilly, 2022).

For DataEngBytes in 2022, they have secured the magnificent Village Roadshow Theatrette and Conversation Quarter.
200 data engineers can be comfortably accommodated at the State Library of Victoria site, which is accessible to public transportation and Melbourne’s CBD precinct.
Sydney — Thursday, 29th September
Museum of Contemporary Art
For this year’s DataEngBytes Sydney conference, the Foundation Hall inside the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia has been reserved.
It’s a beautiful site that will make for a great backdrop for an excellent day of data engineering. It’s located in The Rocks, close to public transportation alternatives like Circular Quay Station, the tram coming off George St, as well as the Sydney Harbour Bridge and Opera House.
